Position
Summary:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse helpers and drivers.
Ensure on-time delivery of various lubricant products to customers while balancing inventory and maintaining customer satisfaction.
At times, this could include safely operating a commercial vehicle to deliver bulk petroleum products to customers.
Responsibilities:
Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activities are performedAssist with balancing workload and aid in delivery responsibilities as needed.
Review work throughout the work process and at completion, to ensure that it has been performed properly, effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads.
Inform drivers or sales representatives if products are not available for delivery or if any other problems are encountered.
Counsel employees in work-related activities, personal growth, and career development.
Resolve personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances when possible, or refer them to higher-level supervisors for resolution.
Receive and explain work orders to drivers/warehouse workers.
Assess training needs of staff; then arrange for or provide appropriate instruction, keeping in mind DOT requirements.
Perform the same work duties as those whom you supervise, and/or perform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in their performance.
Conduct staff meetings to relay general information or to address specific topics such as safety.
Inspect equipment for wear and for conformance to specifications.
Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in sales orders.
Prepare and maintain work records and reports that include information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, and inspection results.
Examine sales orders and apply knowledge of driver's route to determine loading sequences.
Participate in the hiring process by reviewing credentials, conducting interviews, and/or making hiring decisions or recommendations.
Schedule times of shipment and modes of transportation for materials.
Inspect warehouse and vehicles to determine the extent of maintenance or repairs needed.
Aid in balancing books, tracking, monitoring, and projecting division's budget needs, and in developing unit policies and procedures.
Ensure DOT regulations are followed, and all drivers comply with company, state and federal policies, practices and applicable laws.
Demonstrate safe work practices and a maintain a safe work environment.

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Over 2 years, upto and including 4 yearsClass A Commercial Driver's LicenseForklift certifiedPhysical Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
