This role will be responsible for using software and databases to locate potential upcoming projects suitable for Mbrico products, read & understand blueprints and communicate with contractors & architects to generate and provide an Mbrico shop drawing and material bid.
This position will work closely with our sales staff.
This position is responsible for providing project bids for projects throughout N.
America for a national product.
No tile or decking product specific experience or knowledge is required.
This position has a very high income ceiling with great growth potential.
Mbrico Tile manufactures a tile decking and rooftop patio product for use in residential and commercial applications.
We have 10 unique product patents and several more pending.
These products have been recognize with national awards including the North American Deck and Railing Peoples Choice Awards 2 consecutive years and the National Association of Home Builders Green Product of the Year.
The Composite/Alternative decking material market is expected to grow 13% over the next year and is a $3-4 Billion a year industry.
Mbrico Tile decking is sold throughout N.
America for a wide variety of projects ranging from single family homes to hotel and multifamily rooftops.
Past clients include Virgin Hotels, Embassy Suites, Sheraton, ABC Supply, Toll Brothers, Canopy By Hilton, etc.

This candidate should have working experience bidding on construction projects.
The primary responsibility of the Drafter/Estimator is to provide take offs and estimates while insuring the highest level of accuracy.
This includes seeking out projects to bid on, the preparation of material take offs and Mbrico shop drawings.
What You Will Do Utilize Construct Connect, Bluebook, iSqft, CMD Group or similar platforms to locate and bid on potential rooftop, deck, and paver projects throughout the US.
Responsible for finding new future building construction projects & follow the lead and determine if it is a project that Mbrico can bid.
Analyze project specifications to estimate materials, labor, and costs Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to clarify requirements Reviewing plans and generating material lists/estimates for projects such as large sing family homes, multifamily developments, hospitality projects, & similar.
Develop relationships with Architects and Contractors to sway them towards Mbrico products for their needs.
Create detailed drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects Review and revise drawings as necessary to meet project requirements Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions What You Bring
Experience:
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator/Drafter Strong knowledge of construction industry standards Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools, and MS Office Ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and quote accordingly Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings AUTOCAD, Chief Architect, SolidWorks or similar drafting program experience Detail orientated with strong organizational skills High School degree or equivalent Proficient in math and computing skills Good written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and construction teams Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Job Type:
